How does a typical installation work?:

At Focus POS we make it easy for you

• Decide how many stations you want

  • How is your restaurant designed? What is your concept type? How many servers will you have on the floor at once? All of these questions and more weigh in on how many stations you will need. Focus' POS specialists are more than happy to assist you with this, often difficult, question. Our philosophy is to pre-wire for every station that you foresee needing, and only purchase what you need to get started.

   

• Discuss system configuration with your point of sale provider

  • Will you need employee scheduling, customer loyalty or delivery? How would your establishment benefit from a Remote Eyes digital video management integration? Our team will help you select the modules, integrations, and hardware to ensure your point of sale system will effectively help you manage your business.

   

• Provide the Focus POS team with your menu

  • Simply provide our programming team with your menu and we do the rest. After your menu has been partially programmed we will give you a preview of the system. You tell us how you feel. Do you like the overall flow of the system or would you like some changes. Its your POS system, why not have it customized the way you want it!

   

• Time to install

  • The time comes to install your new point of sale system. Our team of highly trained and experienced installers will arrive at your restaurant ready to go. You can sit back and relax while we get everything in place. During this time, one of our programmers may be going over finishing touches on the system with you. These can include last minute pricing changes, menu updates or appearance changes.

   

• Training time

  • Once everything has been installed the fun part begins, training! Don't worry though, not only is Focus one of the easiest and fastest point of sale systems on the market, but our training team knows exactly how to train restaurant staff. All of our trainers have extensive experience in the restaurant business and can help you with any questions you may have!

   

• The final step... Go Live!

  • Now your equipment is in place and your staff trained the last thing to do is take your system live. Once you're up and running our training/installation team will hang out at your store for a day or so and help you with any questions you may have. Is a menu item not printing right? Is a price incorrect? Our team will be more than happy to help you with any changes that need to be made

   

• And then we're done...

  • Well sort of... once our team has left you can rest assured they are only a phone call away. All of our customers enjoy the comfort of knowing that a point of sale specialist familiar with their system is available 24 hours a day 7 days a week. Including holidays.
